Two Brothers Brewing Company is a family owned and operated microbrewery and brewpub located in the western suburbs of Chicago.  We have been hand crafting our artisan beers since 1997.  Come in and see what is brewing.

Due to huge attendance volumes, we are expanding our tours again.

We are giving tours EVERY Saturday at 1:00 and 2:30.

Wednesday April 29th:  We are back from sunny San Diego with lots to talk about.  I think everyone had a great trip and learned a lot at the conference.  Next year it will be in Boston, one of the best restaurant cities in the US.  I am already dreaming of the fresh seafood.

We have been very busy since we got back.  We had a hugely successful Earth Day dinner on Tuesday April 22nd.  Then we went through another expansion to the brewery by adding 4 more tanks to try to keep up with demand.  We had the tanks trucked in on Wednesday, stood up and positioned on Thursday morning, and filled by Thursday afternoon.  Our schedule has been very tight but I hope these tanks will ease things for a while.  This should also mean a steadier supply to the retail locations. 

The first batch of Dog Days Dortmunder Lager is out and as I was drinking one yesterday I could not believe it was 40 degrees outside.  I think everyone in Chicago is ready for some nice weather.  At least drinking a Dog Days makes me think summer is here. 

We have the next Artisan beer in the fermenter.  This is a beer we brewed about 3 years ago and is by far the more requested beer to brew again.  There are going to be some very happy people in a few weeks.  Keep your eyes out for the 22oz bottles to hit the shelves in mid May.

There will be no tours this Saturday due to National Big Brew Day.  Every year the American Homebrewers Association has a Big Brew Day where they try to get as many homebrewers as possible to brew that day.  For the last few years we have invited local homebrewers into the brewery and given them wort off our system.  Then they take that wort and add their own hops and yeast (and sometimes more malt) to make their own beer.  It sounds like it will be a record turn out this year so we will not have room to give tours.  Our new tour schedule will start on Saturday May 10th.

Speaking of Big Brew Day, we will be making a new beer that will be draft only and available in a select number of accounts (and our Tap House of course).  This is a beer I have been wanting to do for a long time.  I am really excited.

A lot of people have been asking when we were going to start with Jewel/Osco in the Chicago Area.  We are happy to tell you that we are starting with 17 of their stores Friday March 21st.  I have been asked to list the stores so everyone knows were to look.  So, if we sell well in these test store over the next few months, we will be placed in the whole chain in September.  Tell you friends to support their local brewery.

We were selected as one of only 48 breweries from the U.S. to participate in a new beer and food pairing event in Washington DC.  The event is put on by the Brewer's Association (the ones that put on GABF).  This should be a great event.  Here are some details www.SavorCraftBeer.com.
