Two Brothers Brewing Company is a family owned and operated microbrewery and brewpub located in the western suburbs of Chicago.  We have been hand crafting our artisan beers since 1997.  Come in and see what is brewing.

Come tour our brewery EVERY Saturday at 1:00 and 2:30.

Wednesday Oct. 29th: Yesterday at exactly 3:00pm, my brother walked into my office and handed me a beer.  He held his glass out and said "Cheers!  At 3:00pm, exactly 12 years ago, Two Brothers Brewing Company was founded.  Here's to another great year of brewing."  As we drank our beers, we reminisced for a few minutes and then talked about some of the things we would like to do next year.  One thing I can tell you is that, with the addition of our new tanks, we will have the room to experiment more next year.  We plan on some really fun projects.

We have lots of new and seasonal releases coming up in the next couple weeks.  We will be releasing Bonfire Dunkle Weiss in 22oz bottles and draft on Tuesday.  Cane & Ebel will be back in 12oz/4 packs on Wednesday.  I think that this will be the start of Cane & Ebel moving to our year around lineup.  We have had so many requests to produce it all year, that we have now been broken.  We have produced a limited amount of  Hop Juice IIPA and will be releasing it in 22oz bottles and on draft in less than 2 weeks.  We have produced a special holiday beer that will be released in about 1 week or so.  More on those two next week.  And, as if that weren't enough, we have produced the first batches of Northwind Imperial Stout.  Northwind is our winter seasonal and will return to 12oz/6 packs this year.  We will be release it on November 18th.

In celebration of the annual release of Northwind Imperial Stout, we will be having a party here at the Two Brothers Tap House.  The tapping party will be on Monday, November 17th from 6-9 pm.  This will be a ticketed event.  Just like the Heavy Handed party, tickets will be $10 and will include a dinner buffet.  Get your tickets early, the Heavy Handed party sold out several days in advance and we had to turn away a large number of people.  For more information or to get your ticket, email Gabe@TwoBrosBrew.com or call the Tap House at 630-393-BEER.

I have updated the Heavy Handed Hop Chart for this weeks bottling.  It is always a little sad to me but we are now finished packaging Heavy Handed for 2008.

Heavy Handed IPA is on its way to the stores in all the markets we distribute in.  Since we use a different "wet hop" in each batch, they will all taste slightly different because of this.  We code the bottles from each batch with a lot number.  Then I post a chart on the bottom of this page so you can see what hop was used in the batch you have.
